Met up with a few guys and some models at an old abbey to do a TFP shoot last Sunday. Was actually pretty fun. It's the first time I've had an opportunity to do anything like this. It was a bit intimidating at first but you get into it pretty quick and I think I got some OK ish shots. Was a bit annoyed though, before I'd even taken a picture the wind caught the brolly on one of my two lightstands and blew it over so the flash stopped working.

Here's a few of the better shots:

There nowhere near perfect and they still need some more PP work on them (I'm bad at PS!). I think the skin tones in the B&W one (although she was pretty tanned) are a bit dark and I need to do some more work on the colours in some cuz they're a bit flat but feel free to hit me with any crits.

Cheers!

Hello dooley, good to have you online again!

I like the lighting in the last shot and the abbey in the background looks good. The only thing that annoys me is that arch coming out of her left shoulder and going into her head!

Good stuff!

Had another shoot in an old tudor house at the weekend but didn't get many shots that I was that happy with so meh... Feel I could have made better use of the location rather than shooting so tight, but you live and learn, eh?

Here's about the only two semi decent ones...

Both shot with one SB28 through a shoot through brolly. Pretty happy with the way the second turned out but the first isn't all that special. I need to get something resembling some sort of consistency when I shoot, lol! Feel free to crit them.

Cheers
