My GF had bought these (rather creepy) nativity figurines in a charity shop to make the house more Christmassy. This was taken using a "painting with light" technique - small aperture & long shutter speed on tripod in completely dark room and the only light was "painted in" using a handheld Maglite with the bulb exposed:
C&C appreciated as always

Very effective, especially with the completely black background. The bottom could do with a tad more light, though maybe that was the idea to have it very dark. Cool! _________________

Aye. The lighting was intended to be around the faces/wee baby rather then light evenly. I thought it would be less distracting that way.
