It was my first race. I did pretty well considering the bike was easily over 40lbs there, and it was SS. I came 3rd in the provincial championships for my division. I showed up 6 minutes before the course was closed for practice though, and only got in one practice run. I could have come 2nd provide I had a bit more practice, but oh well.

I solved the SS and weigh issue though. I traded my heavy ass primo parts for some sleek and sexy x.0 drive train.

Nice bikes by the way. Thats a damn short top tube on the scott.

Cheers. She's one fast trail bike. I love her. The only original parts left are the frame, shock, forks and stem.

How do you know I got rid of the bighit? Or are you guessing?

Just wanted something a bit racier and lower. (Obviously BigHits are tall with a high BB). It's low and long, a bugger on tight turns but its soooo sweet on everything else Very Happy

Is that for the '06 bighit as well? I find I can barely put a pedal in on bumpy ground without catching the pedals!

Yep 06 as pictured above.

what travel forks are you using? 200mm? And what length crank arms?

Do you drop the outside pedal when cornering?

You should be able to tank over everything without catching the pedals on a bighit. Took me a while to stop catching the pedals on the stab after riding a bighit.
