Granted i don't ride mountainbike (BMX and Trials) but compared to the other disorders (i've seen all of them) i didn't particularly like 7. For me there was no ground breaking riding and as i don't mountainbike i guess i was looking at it from a more filming and editing point of view. It just didnt have the same great vibe the others had, but i'm not totally sure why. I still remember the amazing start of number 2..the great song and just as it hits a crescendo bender just throwing himself off that massive drop and sliding along the floor smiling at the camera all the way- inspiring stuff.

yeh, but tbh, i think thats because NO-ONE has come close to pushing the limits like bender has, bender is still getting back into it since broken back, and hopefully he returns his full awesome self.

nwd always showcases the latest in the progressive side of moutnainbiking, so if you dont see a huge progression, blame the riders.

though tbh, people started doin 720 whips, and barspin to tailwhips and that for nwd7, not that compares to benders antics though...

yeh i agree, i think the death of rampage was the blackest day in mtbing, but i was talking bout pros, cause obviously you could then argue that the kamakazi race pushed the boundaries

Yer i think it all didn't seem that progressive to me because i've seen all the streety stuff x 5 in BMX really.

But like i said it wasn't just the riding but the whole feel off the movie was just a bit 'off' the others. How much i love those zipwire northshore shots though!

Firstly, i think kranked was awesome, i'm with you Jedi, i thought the cinematography was pretty good and the whole movie was just so original, and the trails were some of the best in the world. Secondly i think NWD7 was super cool, i can understand why you didn't feel the vibe, but hving watched it several times it still blows my mind.
