Would love to go, really want to go one year before they stop using it as a world cup venue (which i'm sure won't happen for a long time!)
Unfortunatly the date is just before my exams! A week or so later and I probably could have made it... _________________

| Yeah, it's becoming a pilgrimage. Start driving from home at 9 in the evening and get there about 7 in the morning, hopefully the weather will be like last year! |

i want to buy some rainprotection not only for myself but obviously for the photo camera, too...
also, i am hoping to get a presspass so it may be really good fun! : ] |

Ive got a press pass, but i mean, is it really worth it? Going all that way, paying all that money..
Nothing is going to happen to the shots, press pass or not! There are so many photographers going!
I might go up, on the other hand i might not..is it really worth it? _________________ www.TOMGRUNDY.BLOGSPOT.COM |

The jumps at the motorway section are normally pretty difficult to get good shots at during the race due to people getting in the way. Some of the press spots look a lot better to get decent shots. If that's important. But you'll be able to get good access during practice.
I'm too lazy to go for practice and prefer actually watching the last 15-20 riders from the bottom. Enjoying the race is basically the reason that you go there, unless your wage depends on it.
I think Roo has been there with press passes so he can prob give you good advice as to whether it'd be worth it.
Edit: Having said all that; if you decide not to go then can I steal your press pass? _________________ Hamish |

| I'm probably only going because a few friends are, brendan will be racing and I want to be there if it's a good race. If I didn't go and peaty won, I'd be annoyed! |

My prediction is grey weather, with fog or rain. (not being pessimistic, a logical guess!)

Depends. Have you done it before? I've never been before, so for me it would be worth it, just for the experience alone and the shots, whether you get money from them or not.
As a pro though, i'd imagine you'd have to get paid a fair amount to cover the costs and make a profit!
