yeh CS2 takes some getting used to but once to have, its great

Jasc Paint shop Pro 8 as it's the only proper editing software I have access too. At college we have CS2 on the macs but I don't get to use it enough.

Im now using photoshop version 7.
Its like CS2 and elements mixed. The ease of use of elements, but the tools of CS2.
It also comes with an extra program for image ready, so i could animate things if i had enough ram on my PC.

I'm using a mix of tools for my photography. In Mac OSX, I use Photoshop CS. If you get a chance to check out Adobe Lightroom Beta 4, it's working pretty decent now. For quick tweaks, I use iPhoto. If I'm using the PC, I have Photoshop CS2 and Canon EVU and DPP. I was using RAW Shooter Essentials for a while until Adobe killed it in favor of Lightroom.

I tend to shoot RAW and use either Nikon Capture 4.4 or ACR (if needing to do a lot of batch stuff) for the initial adjustments and CS2 for anything after that.

I use several programmes depending on what I want to do.

If it's one image that needs some hard time spent on it then I use Photoshop CS2. If it's something that I need amazing quality on for printing straight from RAW then I'll use Nikon Capure NX. Control point editting with Capture is absolutely brilliant and so much easier and more powerful than adjustment layers. If I need some batch conversion then I use Rawshooter Essentials.

Saying that, at the moment I've just created a Photoshop action which dramatically speeds up my workflow. The action will open a RAW file from a specified folder and bring up the RAW adjustment screen so I can instantly change anything and everything that I want to. Then when I click "ok" instead of it opening the RAW file it then saves the editted photo as a TIFF image in a seperate folder then opens the next RAW file ready for me. Quick, easy and so damn poweful!

nice action!
