We're being chased!

JAW

That is such a random picture! It makes it interesting, mind you. I hope you managed to pull away quick enough!

I hope you didn't brake check him! LOL

He was most definitely enjoying the draft. As much as I hate riding on busy roads with the road bike, the drafts certainly make it faster Very Happy

No we didn't although judging by the tyre marks on the back of the bumper, other people have! I discovered the draft from just a rider can make a huge difference, I've only done lorries and busses before.

The guy in the pic works in a bike shop about 4 miles from my house, which is a bit of a coincidence as it was shot about 1000km away...

That definitely adds to the chase then! Do you owe the shop money?! LOL

Nice work fella. Great colours and nice & crisp.

Reminds me of a story. I was over in the Alps with friends this summer. We decided to spend our last night in Chamonix to get some proper beers in but had too many people for the rental car... so two guys kindly volunteered to cycle from Les Gets across to the nearest train station (with 2.5 HRs on freeride bikes). It was a fair trek and involved an 11km climb as well as plenty of road descending before and after the climb.

As luck would have it, we had to stop for petrol and they had reached the start of the climb when we caught them up...

So we just let the hang onto the side of the car and pulled them up the climb. It was ridiculously dangerous - they're tyres were so close and they had to steer around all the hairpins with one hand, whist keeping the bikes stable whilst hanging onto door handles with the other one. We passed a French roadie coming down the way who gave us a nice disgusted glance, with a hint of jealousy! Just because he wasn't able to climb at 30 mph.

Sadly I was boxed by most of our kit, on the opposite side of the car and unable to get any pics. Grr!

Seems like you can have some fun on the road then!
