Time CapsuleThe only way to describe this place is as a time capsule. Everything just looks exactly as it would have 63 years ago when it closed... Obviously with a slight hint of decay since then.
Wanted to go back tomorrow morning with some more people but I got news earlier that it was sealed around lunchtime today.

I mean the council came and bricked the place up again at around noon.
For most of the shots I was firing about 3-6 full power flashes. The signage one was just two flashes and the light painting was just one flash and some torch work.

Good work, Mike. Like the first in particular.
Shame they've sealed it up but at least nobody else can copy you now.

I'm more worried about the place getting vandalised by chavs
It should be preserved.

Is it a WWII air-raid shelter?
The tyre in the last shot is so random. I love the stop the spread of disease poster shot. Looks so ironic.

None of them are HDR, just carefully balanced with flash. The silhouettes that you see are where I've fired a flash away from the camera, which has revealed my outline.
