Some simple MathsSo, I've been spending a few hours brushing up on my Photoshop skills seeing that I've been somewhat lacking lately.
Here's some simple maths, one photo + other photo = resultant photo.
Effectively making the result greater than the sum of it's parts.

The idea being that I didn't really get a decent shot of Pat's PHAT table in a useful landscape orientation that would be good for the double-page adverts Matt is after. So I combined two photos to get what I wanted. Bonza.
I just realised that the final version I uploaded, the flash exposure on Pat is about 1/3rd of a stop over the rest of the flash illuminated area (the bowl)... Which it shouldn't be, I've sorted it out in the final so it looks more natural.

Good work, that is a tidy photo.

Nice work, Mike.
Is it my eyes or is he a little higher up in the air than he should be, taking the resizing into account?

Nicely done; you've got a tidy result there, though this kind of work is always controversial!

Also from a designer's point of view, if this is going to work as a DPS, you've got the rider dead centred, so he'll be cut in half by the magazine gutter. Always nice to have the subject to one side for DPS stuff, makes our lives easier, and more likely to get your shot used in a publication!
