So anyway

I'm back from a couple of weeks holiday in the USA. I took some photos. These were some of the better ones:

I've still some photos to sort through but have posted a fair bit here, if anyone's interested:

C&C appreciated.

That one in Vegas was taken from the bridge between NYNY and MGM Grande, no? On the NYNY side!

Some really nice landscapes too, love the 1st and 4th ones.

Re: So anyway

Wow, the 3rd, 4th and 5th are immense!

I think the bridge shot (the 2nd one) is slightly spoilt by the birds.

I'd have kicked you if you didn't!

Good stuff, look forward to seeing more soon!

Yep. I had set up on the balcony at NYNY but told that you weren't allowed tripods on the premises so had to move to the bridge. Bit of a pain as I had to put the lens right up against the grill and the tripod couldn't be terribly still with the strange alignment.

Cheers.

I think a little less sky would be nice in the 3rd, but apart from that the scene is so nice it hurts.

Is it yosemite?

I know what you mean, had to kinda balance my camera on the wall at the end and try and hold it still for a couple of seconds. Done well!

It is Yosemite. A simply stunning place. The lighting was staggering that evening.

Cheers. I think the amount of sky is okay but I should have used a polarising filter. I'll remember that if I ever go back.

Dude... I'm jealous. I live in the US and have never been to any of those places. LOL

All of this is great work.

I reckon the birds make it, the sillouette is great!

Nice shots man, can't wait till I get out there in August.

Is the 3rd one the same place as this http://www.anseladams.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=110 ?

Pretty much. I think I was standing about 10 yards further over to the left. Wink
