QuinsWent to watch Harlequins vs Sale on Sunday. Only had a crappy 18-70 to hand but luckily was quite close to the pitch and I think managed to get a couple of decent shots:

Okay. First off the 18-70 isn't a crappy lens. It's a decent lens, although limited for sports due to the variable aperture.
Secondly, youve done a decent job. I like the second - you've got conflict and the ball present which is essential for ball games. Good work fella.

Nice i love the colours! the second shot is my fave. The 3rd is good aswell but it's difficult to see the ball.

Just to clarify - I was meaning the 18-70 was crap for shooting shots like that. Its a decent, if limited lens.
Cheers for the feedback - I also like shot 2, and the third is a big crop from a much bigger shot, but had some nice action in.
