PotM 13: Sudden Death Vote!

Ok, we've got a dead heat for potm so now it's a sudden death. Vote quick as you've only got about 3 days for this!

looking at 2 now.the red dots bug me

50/50 when i voted! lol

Difficult choice. One has a horribly blown sky (and other areas) as a result of the backlighting being too strong. Given that the topic is lighting, and it's not being well used at all IMHO, I can't bring myself to even consider voting for it. Shame, as the water splash has been well captured.

The other is pleasant but there's a lot of fringing/movement in the tree which dominates the picture and almost hides the riders, even with their 'annoying' red lights as according to jedi.

I didn't vote for either first time round and will probably abstain from the sudden death vote. Unless I have a change of heart in which case I'll go for #2

Neither did I! I hope you do vote, cos at the moment it's a dead heat again! I voted for picture 2 cos i thought the lighting was better, though the blurred tree does irritate me slightly!

Voted pic 1 again. Was stuck which to vote between these two in the 1st round. Both are nice in their own ways.

As nicely as I asked, I couldn't persuade the tree to keep its branches still for a full second. Sad

Did you try using a more wooden tone of voice? :pun:

I went for No. 1, Like the feel of speed and felt it was caught well and looks like he is having fun, whichis what it is all about after all!
No 2 is great but as someone else said the red lights are a little distracting, that said I really do like the feel of the pic. Captures the mood really well I feel.
