PORC winter series (inc round 2)Was an awful day weather wise, but managed to get a few shots before either me or my camera drowned.
Any comments and crit much appreciated!

i love the motion blur on the first photo and the colours are great, they're all great, the one with the tyre tracks well the only thing that i can think of is that the marks arent very clear. But sick shots

First one suffers from big-arse-itis too much, but I love the motion blur with the spectator. Second is a cracker. Fourth is okay.
Third doesn't quite have enough isolation or clarity and the tyre tracks don't look deep enough to be interesting from a riders perspective. But I like the idea.

They were taken at PORC which is in Penshurst, near Tunbridge Wells in Kent.

As for the tyre track shot - yes i agree with you both - in retrospect i should have got one further down the track where the mud was pretty much ankle deep. I wanted to get a shot of some splattered riders as well but it just didn't seem to happen.
In the first shot, do you think i should have cropped the leaves out of the bottom right of the shot?

I don't know about cropping the leaves out or not. It might look tidier but it doesn't avoid the horrible effect of using a wide angle when the rear wheel is closer to the camera than the front.
