Photos of YOU riding!

We all take photos here, but how often do we get photos taken of us while we're riding?! For me it's certainly not that often, so I thought it'd be a good idea for us to post the few rare photos we may have of ourselves riding... After all, riding is the reason we're here right? Smile

I really thought a topic like this already existed, but I couldn't find one...
jedi

here's of me

Hamish

I hardly ever get any taken of me, and even fewer that I'd keep.

Here are a couple:

********** WARNING - XC CONTENT (but no lycra) ************

P.S. Jedi - I've noticed that a couple of the pics of you riding are the ones you've submitted for POTM. Does that mean that set your cameraphone up with a timer and then manage to catch yourself in those poses, all by yourself? If so then you must be good. Or maybe you should give credit to whoever actually took the photos Wink
mikedeere

I was thinking to try some self portrait stuff while riding, but the only one I've done is this:

However, Nikki has taken a few of me. Smile

And this was by Sean while I as on his bike:

Don't have many for obvious reasons...

So what about the first sentence in the rules which says "You can submit any picture you or someone else on the forum has posted or took, providing you make it clear who took it. "?
jedi

notes of who took ones of me are my pic site.i just take it for granted people on here know.nevermind
John

I often have friends take photos of me, but rarely are they good...

Heres my favourite 2 even though they're not great photos...

Things is that the second one makes it look like the drops 3 foot but the 'second me' is actually the landing, would've been better from a different angle I think.

Here's a shot of my from the last event of the season in November. I snapped my collar bone on 6 February when I laid my road bike over in a 20 MPH turn. Split my skid-lid in several places. I picked up my cameras for the first time in many months last week. My spin time was reduced to the trainer only. I've been riding around the neighborhood for 10-30 minutes in the past couple weeks though. I tried the easiest mountain bike trail we have here last week and that was just plain stupid. I'll have to stick to the road until it's completely healed. I never realized how much pressure mountain biking puts on the upper body until that ride...

John

flat bars...I don't see them much these days!
jacob

Getting the gurn going again, this is a tight wet slippy corner but get in the rut nicely and you can ping round it.
JAW

Looks like your certainly laying into that one! Shorts and teeshirt at this time of year?

Shame that i'm high and the bike is low, need a longer faster corner for that.

As for shorts and t-shirt, definately. Anything more and it's far too hot! If you are cold, then ride harder/faster, work for me Very Happy
grinch8

not me, but one i took of Roo riding down a steep rooty trail on the side of pitch hill.

Roo

Here's a new one, my friend Grant (www.grantrobinson.com) has just got himself a 1D MkIII, so we went up the woods to have a mess around.

JAW

Nice action packed shot. I like a lot of Grant's work, especially the recent dirt cover. Don't think you could get him on Freewheel could ya?
Roo

I doubt it very much, not enough free time (I have plenty!).
JAW

Oh well, never mind. But if you get the chance to put a word in...
jedi

Nice heathland, whereabouts is that?
Roo

Done 100 miles on it this long weekend, so that's a very familiar sight to me Rolling Eyes But also a good one, you pretty much have that kind of view when tucked up, we did a great descent down bury hill into bury, touched 50mph and we cornered at about that speed too Very Happy
