hi guys,
my name is dan, i have been into mountain biking for about 7 years now, i have always enjoyed a good picture of people riding, but i have never really had much chance to take any of my own because the shutter lag on my old camera is ridiculous, plus it can't seem to focus on fast moving objects.
so i ordered a new camera, which arrived today, a fuji s5600, it has a 10x optical zoom and the ability to control everything manually which is cool.
i have been playing around with it today and its really good, even though my photography skills arent there yet
these are some of my first pics with my new camera and i am pleased with the results. they were all taken on auto mode, next time i think i will have a play about with the settings.
everyone chilling out

180 off steps
a bit of trials style
closeup of my bike (my favorite pic)
non bike related: my mate on his skateboard
let me know what you think, hopefully the next bunch will look better!
cheers

nice first attempt, i suggest you tweek the manual in photoshop to make it brighter cause it a nice shot but currently too dark, looks like flash was on but didnt reach him
anyways, yeh i suggest you just play about as much as possible and learn what all the different settings do
keep it up dude
