I really need to stop doing that in photos. No wonder I take most of them...
I've had this shot in mind for a while and decided to give it a try on last night's ride with a mate pressing the shutter. Definitely one to try again I think. Without the pufferfish look!

Nicely composed! As you said - next time don't hold your breath. I don't see how you can whilst riding up hill anyway...

I think it was the fact that I was concentrating on stopping & trackstanding on the rock for a couple of seconds to make sure that he got the shot!

It wouldn't be so much an advert as a warning:
DT 5.1 rims and dual ply Maxxis - don't fit them unless you never plan to change tyres again.

Good to know! Had a similar experience with Maxxis swamp things and Sun s-type rims: Blistered hands for ages. Ye be warned...
