Hey, nice pics. U got POD on pink bike didnt you. yesterday, it was a nice picture. Hope to here more from you!
JAW

Welcome to the forums!

You've got some nice shots there - I really like the first one, and the last is quite unique too. There's some interesting lighting in your pics too.

Keep up the good work!
lunatyk

thank you for positive opinion...

yes, i was lucky enough to get two pod/s already,
two saturdays in a row hehehe

and here is something what i shot today with ali at chicksands

JAW

Nice, great timing and composition! Some people might find the 'fuzziness' (for want of a better word) annoying, but it does create a nice kind of dreamy effect.
BenAtBedgebury

The lighting is real nice Cool

Interesting effect with the edges of the shots darker too.
Welcome btw. Keep the shots coming!
lunatyk

thanks again for posoitve feedback on my work...
this time i want to show you the effect of my very first photo session with terri~anne. she is mtb rider with true passion from the heart...

as she is very pretty girl i could not resist to shot some 'modeling' photographs...

take a look and give me your opinion, please...

I like them, but I think the flash on a couple in the last few is a bit too harsh. Not too keen on the shadows on her face in number 10 - little less flash power and let a touch more ambient in to fill them perhaps? Dirt jump ones are cool - are all of them from Chicksands? I've only been up there once, but I need to go back sometime!
lunatyk

finally something new...

humanoid1989

Youre gonna get a magazine cover one of these days, real quality photo's!
JAW

Nice, I love that latest edition.
dooley

That last one is really nice! If you could do the same with the rider pulling some sort of 360 so he was facing the camera, I think it would work even better.
lunatyk

thanks guys,,,
dooley, you know, that is really cool idea... so if only weather will be good on this sunday. . .
lunatyk

this snapshot is just to show where you should go when you have a few days off...

so put /portland bill, portland, dorset, england/ on you 'i must be there' list : ]

dooley

You were down near my neck of the woods!
lunatyk

hi there,

a few shots from today...

JAW

Nice, how much did that set you back?

Love the first one (apart from the marshall in the background!)
humanoid1989

Quality pics- it was a beautiful day at Chicksands- you caught it perfectly!
Im going to have to put my bike away for a couple of hours and get my camera out next time im there, Chicksands does that to you!
lunatyk

thank you, guys...

jaw, you know... price of the canon 5d mark ii it is quite a jaw drop heheh
the lens has been borrowed from a friend, but i need to say this is my very next purchase...

here are 4 more shot from that day...

and one of my most favourite shots of the day...

the photo is not touched by lightroom and photoshop : D
i simply stare on this photography and enjoy extremely sweet quality!

trail: chicksands

JAW

A fair amount then heh heh

Nice shots, I like the one of the spectators!
BenAtBedgebury

How wide is the wide angle lens you are using? Nice results.
lunatyk

this is my fish-eye lens ~ canon 15mm
but the trick is the 'fullframe' matrix of a photocamera...

if you want to see how much i do sacrifice for your pleasure look at this photo ~ http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/3363033/

yeah, now guess on who all this sand, dirt and stones fly?! : ]
JAW

lol is that you in the picture? Hope your lens is protected!
lunatyk

yes, this is me... :]

the lens /canon L 70-200mm f2.8 is/ gives you so many new perspectives on photography angles...
here are my new, 'experimantal' views on the bikes...

heheheh

well, maybe i must have the  same lens...

canon 300mm ~ £3,500...
JAW

Nice pics, shame about the tree behind behind the rider in shots 23 & 24.

Surely that's not a 300mm? looks more like 600-1200 to me!  Cool
mikedeere

Nah, that's definitely a 300.

Great shots in this topic, good to meet you the other day at BikeRadar Live too!

Don't rob salt in the wound. I was so annoyed to miss that!  Evil or Very Mad
mikedeere

My bad!

And of course I got shots there! Very Happy

I'm limiting what I'm posting just yet though, until clients have chosen photos etc.
grinch8

Lovley shots, tuck no's are allways hard to get the timing perfect!

I allways look through the camera with the left eye...ive never though about it, but im right handed and left eyed..so i cant shoot a gun properly either i just said that because Sterling and Lunatyk use there right eye
JAW

Never thought about that before grinch!
lunatyk

hey, mike... yes, it has been a pleasure for me meet you there and have a small talk,,, you are one of my first most favourite photographers which i found interesting for myself... looking forward to see more of your action shot,,, and lifestyle too...

tom, you are not the only one who looks into viewfinder with the left eye,,, my buddy has got the same thing... many times he was angry when he changed settings on the camera by his nose hehehe

ok, and here are couple of my snaps from 'bikeradar' event

jamie goldman made my day!

and event of the year... fort william '09
it has been amazing to be there... all the atmosphere, landscapes, downhill lines, the biggest riders and... daaaamn midges! true killers!!!

i am still waiting for some miracles to happen, when of course they probably don't...
JAW

Lovely shots lunatyk! Love the one of Blake Samson (purely because it looks so un-british and quite ambiguous). The shot with all the riders in the air has simply incredible timing! The last two shots are nice too.
dooley

Awesome shots there mate! You've done a really great job with those. I'll have to have a dig around and find some of mine to post up.

Mike, I recognised your face there!
lunatyk

thanks, guys...
it am glad you like them,,,

look who i saw in fort william...

i know i want to be like him one day!
hahahaha

well, basicaly all what i need is this damn canon 300mm %]
JAW

who might that be?
grinch8

Lunatyk's Hero..

I dont know how you lug all that kit around, i get so tired lugging around what i have..and thats hardly alot!
JAW

Surely it would be easier to take a golf bag and/or hire a caddy?!
lunatyk

if we are taking a photos of tiger woods than yes...
but i see you have never been in fort william, jaw, huh? hehehe

true, shoulders and neck hurt as hell after few hours

i do not who he was,,, i wanted to talk, but i decided to stay quiet...

good bagpack is an important choice for comfort while shooting photos,,,

i see i forgot to present you one of my recent, most successful shots...
so here we go:

36]

i am happy to say this one was POD on pinkbike

That rider has a very..Canadian Freeride style to him, along with the photos,
It looks like Rominauk!
humanoid1989

Well Lunatyk, you might want to be like Mr 300mm (whats his name again) but im taking lots of cues from your pics- in my opinion some of the best ive seen! And im not bothering taking photos at Chiccy anymore, im not going to better those posted here.......

A mighty well done sir!
JAW

38 looks the money shot to me...
lunatyk

heheh, thanks again for nice words,,,!

jaw, sure, i can sell it to you! how much am i gonna get? [:

i am sure, sam would be happy of comparing him to romaniuk,,, romaniuk is one of my totaly most fav riders!!!
btw. i L O V E this segment from kranked7 ~ click

The lighting and focussing gives no 40 a really surreal look! Nice. 38 is a lush shot too.
