Hey kids!I've not been on here for a while, lack of internet connection due to moving into a new flat which is great! Unfortunately with the new place comes new bills and a cashflow problem! So...
Not sure on rules of selling on this forum, but there's a lot of Nikon users on here, anyone want a Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8 ED DX Fisheye lens? I want a fast sale, i.e. before the end of the month so if anyone who wants one could make me an offer that'd be great.

Once the cashflow is sorted (money from Diamondback, Dirt Mag, Student Loan and Working on the way!) then I should be buying a 12-24mm f/4 as a replacement! Although that'll probably be in a few months time.
Nikki got a D200 too by the way! Happy times, hope you're all safe and well.

I don't think anyone has been on here recently, Mike. I broke my ribs last month and had my first ride in 6 weeks yesterday. God I'm unfit now.
Do you really have to sell the fisheye? It'd be a shame to see it go.
And are you going for the Nikkor 12-24? The Tokina version is highly rated and a lot cheaper. That way you mightn't have to sell the fish. I guess that you could just prostitute yourself for a while instead

It does seem pretty quiet on here!
I need fast money for rent on the first of the month, I've also got a Canon 350D for sale with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 MkII and 70-300mm f/4-5.6 MkII lenses with spare batteries... Also selling old forks and an old wheel. Fun and games!
Broken ribs sounds pretty painful! Glad to hear you're recovering though. I managed to severely bruise mine thinking about it, although got over it after about two weeks... Fell off the back of a bloody BMX at about 20mph! Clever me, only to be watched by an undercover cop at the time, doh!
I'm pretty unfit now too, not had much time for riding or the money to get anywhere. Just getting back into it thanks to a new local skatepark which is empty during the day so I spend a fair bit of free time there... Plus one of my best mates has his new Spesh P1 arriving today after 2 years on a cruiser, so another excuse to ride more!
I noticed the Tokina one the other day, same aperture throughout and half the price! Not sure how it rates in terms of sharpness, but the constant apperture is certainly appealing over going for Sigma 10-20 or whatever it is.
Speaking of which, I've suddenly becoming very concerned over DX lenses. Reason being that Nikon should be announcing the D3 series later this year and it's almost certainly going to be full frame (sensible of them waiting for prices to fall and silicon yields to increase!) and so lenses with a full image circle would be needed. Mind you, i'm still sure they'll make a version with the same size APS-C sensor, as the sports photographers love them over spending twice as much on longer tele lenses. Ooh it's all up in the air! We'll see I guess.

Yeah. All the D3 rumours...
I'd imagine they'll have a crop option, maybe like the D2Xs. Personally, I'd prefer an APS-C sensor for a variety of reasons such as lighter lenses & smaller files for processing never mind my current lenses. We'll just have to wait and see, although I'm happy with my D200 at the moment, but then again I would love the D2 series AF.
The Tokina is quite highly rated in terms of sharpness. Look here to see some examples, such as this one:

I'm not too concerned, I only have one DX lens and that's the fisheye which should still work, you just have to crop and if the sensor is 12mp or more, it really won't be too bad. I would like a full frame though....
