Finished it off today.

This is what I have entered (as an A3 print) as my final studio project on my photography course.

Nice! Loving the font, but the headtube iron horse bit is kinda out of place IMO, apart from that, well done!

i love it, but the top right pic could be blended more, but that wont really matter

good job!

How do you mean?
dandantheadminman

by blending, i mean the way it blends into the background

probs just me being picky since i used to use photoshop alot and go used to pointing out every little error, lol

Yes, but how do you mean blended more, if you mean a more gradual blend from picture to black, unfortunately it wasn't possible because the picture edges would start to appear... I think I used a 2000 pixel brush at 0% hardness to get it how it is there. If you mean blended more in another way, just say, I don't use photoshop lots Sad

Yeah. The lighting is very nice and striking. I like it, but it's a tiny shame that the top right picture spills into the rear tyre. I'd hope that wouldn't be an issue unless photoshopping skills are important to that particular assignment.

You should really have taken the reflectors off though! Wink

Spilling in what way, some of the picture is actually over the top of the tyre?, or I had to remove some of the picture because the wheel is in the way?

I did take the bell and normal F+R reflectors but the wheel ones weren't so easy, we tried and failed Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

It goes over the top of the tyre. Just a little but Adam and I noticed it straight off.

Not too sure about the over the tyre bit? I can't see any picture over it on my computer or on a printout. I'm wondering if you are talking about the area on top of the wheel where the tyre just goes black where on the left and right there is a highlight? If that's it, then it's not the image going over the tyre, because it's still black if you take off the image layer. It's just no light hit that particular spot of the wheel, same with the top of the saddle. I can see what you mean if thats what you were on about though and ideally I would have adjusted the lights so the highlight continued all around the tyre as well as the top of the saddle.

I prefer our motto at halfords, "if in doubt, give it a clout" but not the case when it's a friends bike and want's it back immaculate Embarassed

if you look near the bottom of the top right pic, near the tyre, the blend from pic to black is kinda abrupt imo, the top bit looks nice though

It may also be because in the actual digi photo I missed the front wheel of the rider, so that's why it gets cut off in the front wheel on the digi picture, he took a different line and I was never ready for it Evil or Very Mad
