Day and NightWent Snowboarding last week, hardly took any photos at all!
Never took my camera up the mountain for risk of breaking it
so there are the only two i took there HDR's from the view of my window
the dark one came out a bit weird, really noisey!

AARGH!!! Stop all this HDR nonsense and concentrate on single frame shots with the correct exposure when the lighting conditions are right, rather than trying to use technology to beat nature! 
Re: the noise - it'll be long exposure noise from the sensor heating up.

I get scared about taking the point & shoot out, never mind an dSLR! Is that Les Deux Alpes, by any chance?
