Nice, I love the graphic look of the first one! Did you simply apply a filter in photoshop to the first two? Looks awesome!

Minimal Photoshop on the first two, just a straight B&W conversion and some slight curves adjustment. I was trying an idea I had for lighting, firing the flash at the background instead of the actual subject to create some really high-contrast results. Rather than battling with lighting the suject nicely to try and pick them off the background. I like how they came out, but think the technique still needs some practice and development on my part.
The third shot of the frontflip has zero PS work.

Great idea, I could see them being used for some commercials.

Nice idea, but like you said I think it needs a bit more work. Maybe if you exposed the background properly, but still with the high flash power, then you could silhouette the rider and foreground? Maybe it wouldn't work, but just a thought...
Cool pics though - nice sense of depth to the last one! Good work with the lighting, too. You did that with just one flash? Did you have a load of mirrors or something, lol?

Practice, practice, practice...
Even more amazing (to me at least) is the fact that the frontflip shot is a mere ISO200. Newport is notoriously dark, normally shooting 400-800 there, and that's only because if I push my old-skool D70 any further then it's pretty much unusable!
I still have no idea how I managed to get a well balanced lit, sharp shot with reasonably good depth of field too at such a low ISO. Sometimes it all just comes together.
