I think they are all pretty awsome pics, but its a shame about the blurring when trying to pan!
TBH, you dont really need amy tips, but i think that an over head shot would be cool, i dont meen directly over head, just above more.

yeh that was main prob for the spectators, you only had limited viewing zones so the more spectatular stunts, like the big kickers at teh bottom, weren't viewable for any photographer (unless you sneeaked past marshalls) _________________ Ride like you have insurance.
hey there, like the site, just what i needed after geting a good camera for xmas, neways just wandering which trail is the first photo from, really confused y i havnt seen it, it looks kind of like the table top but that doesnt have a berm leading into it >!
?
They're a bit blown and a bit blurry. It's not a major deal with the backgrounds but the blown bike frame/forks and white bits on the jersey are a bit much.
The first does look a bit to' flashy', there's too much of it on the wood in the foreground. I know you 'like' the flash look but I think it looks really fake and spoils things. Also, did you use rear synch (as you're supposed to) or front curtain? There's quite a bit of ghosting which makes me think that you did the latter.
A slightly quicker shutter speed might have helped things a little in all three. The composition is good but there are a few spoiled details, partly due to shutter speed and partly due to bad luck. e.g. in the second there is the 'zombie eye' appearance from a bit of blur obscuring the iris/pupils so that just the white is there. Given that it's a composition which emphasises the concentration, it's a shame.
Of course, there can be a bit of up/down movement on any biking surface which can either screw up panning shots or add to the effect. Sometimes you can't legislate for it, although the shore looks pretty smooth.
