I went up to Dunkeld to shoot my first proper biking shots in ages at the SDA there. It's an interesting place - very techy DH making experienced riders look like trail centre mincers. I've still got loads to look through but here are a few for starters:

C&C appreciated as always. And which one of the last two pics do you prefer? Obviously they are both featuring corners...

yes, the 4th shot is really good...
i still would prefer to make it few steps closer, but it is still good, wide angle...

Yeah, I like the last one a lot!

Lairy kit in the first shot (though I suppose quite mild compared to what Sam Hill was wearing at fort bill)!

There were quite a few minging outfits; the full Troy Lee Rasta top & pants in particular.

lunatyk - at first I thought I preferred the wider shot as I really wanted to contrast the rider with all the greenery. But I also took a tighter shot of another rider, also in white kit (see POTM). I'm now inclined to agree with you.

Here are a few more:

and a quick snapshot - one of the many bails Laughing

Looks like quite a techy course!

Really like the second to last shot. As for the last, there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of capturing someone else's misfortune!

It's a VERY technical course. I've never seen so many crashes/dabs. It was also difficult to shoot as most riders were taking totally different lines, probably down to how out of contol/scared they were!

I like the second to last pic too. I'm currently going through a non-photoshop phase but might clone out the two spectators as they're really annoying.

The technical elements of the course have really made for some nice shots. Like the second one down of the new lot too. Great timing on the last shot  Cool
