Seeing as I've commented on every other POTW/POTM since I joined, it's only fair that I comment on this one. It's a decent picture but could be better.
The rider in the background should have been a touch more to the right, but I didn't notice him as I was tracking the guy on the right and it was a fluke that he was included. Usually I'd rather see the face of one of the riders but I kind of like them both looking off into the distance.
The blown highlights on the jersey are a tiny bit annoying but not unacceptable. The purple fringing is a also a tiny bit off putting, and should have been removed in CS2 but I couldn't be bothered. Other than that it's sharp with a nice DOF but if you can't get that with a 50mm f1.8 lens then you've no excuse.
