So, it's come to that time of the year again; time for our Photo of the Year contest! No particular theme, just the pic you think was your best taken this year. I'm also considering allowing the submission for two pics and multiple voting, so let me know what you think on that...

Entry deadline 17th December.

N.B: Could you please attatch the code of your photo with it when you submit your entry as this will make my life a lot easier when it comes to sorting out the voting.

e.g
Code:

Cheers.

Will probably go for this one:

Does it have to be a biking pic? I've hardly taken any this year. Sad

In fact, all of my best pics from this year have had nothing to do with biking! Wink

I'm not sure what to think about that suggestion Hamish... i'm split. Say you had got some mtb shots and someone else suggested it, what would you say?

They have to be photos that you have taken, but it doesn't matter whether or not you have submitted them to the site before.

JAW - I'm not being serious. This is a mountain biking forum. The POTYear should be mountain biking related.

I'm thinking that I might try and take some pics at the weekend, if my night shifts aren't too busy. Still 15 days left!

Heres my mate Jay tackling the urban Jungle in London earlier in the year.
This pic was captured on Film using a Canon EOS 50E camera- cant remember the settings, but it was Fuji Superia 400asa film.

Welcome to the forums dan! I like the fact that you've used film, don't often get film shots submitted!

I thought you were being serious Hamish...  Embarassed

Ok, i know you said one photo per person- but i couldnt choose just one!
This one was taken recently in the fog at my local spot. Its a digital image taken using my Fuji Finepix camera (F8 at 250 shutter speed on manual override). Ive done a little bit of photoshopping on it, but its not overbearing and nothing i couldnt do with 'old school' darkroom kit!

Goodness. I've just had a look on the PC and I've hardly taken any biking pics this year. I've shot plenty of cat photos and some cracking landscapes but not very many MTB pics. Here's a couple from a pool of not very many:

New Year's resolution note to self - take more biking pictures.

Im putting in these two.. not because i think there my best photos..but because i had the most fun when taking these:

when i saw the light come behind him i was like...dam it i dont want the light there go behind a cloud or something..then when i got home i realised it was the best shot of the day.

,,.Ren called me up and was like quick quick we need photos for MBUK pro bike.. so the next day i walked around college with tripods and camera gear.. was going to meet him at lunch time but he was 2 hours late...so skipped geography to take some photos..
Then after all of that, DMR thought the photo was from spain and put it on there webstie..and i was like..what..that was sent to MBUK..how did you get that, so then DMR said sorry and gave me a free t-shirt...
