This month theme is 'pinned'. Define the word, in your opnion, in a photo. Can be any discipline. Submission deadline is next tuesday. However if you need an extended deadline it may be possible to do so....
N.B: Could you please attatch the code of your photo with it when you submit your entry as this will make my life a lot easier when it comes to sorting out the voting.
e.g
| Code: | | |
Cheers.

grinch - i'm going to Morzine myself next week so if we don't have the voting done by then it could be 1-3 weeks until it does get done. Don't worry though we have a DH theme for potm coming up soon! However, if the entries are as slow coming in as they are now i will have to extend the deadline so who knows...

I'm back from Lake Garda on 9th August. Might have something then, if it is still open.
But don't hold back on my account because I'll probably come back with nowt. |

I have no idea what "pinned" actually means never mind how to represent it photographically. It seems to be one of those extreme sports cliches used by people with a very limited vocabulary. And all my photos are either "stoked", "sic" or "awesome" but sadly not "pinned".
Oh well...nevermind... I'll probably miss this one out seeing as I injured myself at the weekend and won't be riding for a couple of weeks. _________________ Hamish |

Oh, Hamish. The idea is to be creative, which i believe is an important aspect of taking photographs. The idea is that we get your perspective of pinned in a photograph a photograph that you describe as pinned. _________________

It was tongue in cheek, JAW. Hence the smilie. I thought that was pretty obvious.
Although now that I've been thinking about things I reckon about 85% of my biking photos are maybe "dialled" and not "stoked... _________________ Hamish |

I thought you were mocking the theme!! Maybe the theme should be 'cliche's' then so that people can post any dialled, pinned, rad, sick etc shots! I do think that pinned is the most photographically relevant though.... _________________
