Anyone going on any biking and/or photography holidays this summer? If so, where?
I'm going to the Alps again and can't wait, though i'd like to try somewhere like Italy next year.

I like the look of that place too, the riding seems great, though it doesn't look quite as epic as the alps etc _________________

| Not planning on going anywhere as I don't have any money to. If I really need to get away from home I might go to dartmoor for a few days. Hopefully I'll get some nice jobs away from home... |

not much time to relax during those, saying that, the road ride on the last day in france has gone down as one of my best times on a bike ever.
I have a chance to go to france next week for very little money, I've never done the chairlift thing so I'm tempted, just need a dh bike first... |

I take it you're talking Alps? If so "try it, you won't regret it"!! _________________

| yeah les gets, but I'd have to leave tues/weds and may stay out till the mega and shoot that. I don't think it's going to happen though, I don't really have any money and I'd need to buy a dh bike before going out...not gonna happen. |

Shooting the mega would be awesome. You could always hire/borrow a bike or if you've got an all mountain that would suffice. But if you don't, make sure you do at somepoint in the near future! _________________

You don't need a DH bike for the Alps. I happily took my 06 Enduro with Lyriks last year, although I wouldn't have minded a bit more suspension for the horrendous braking bumps on account of the weather. But a decent AM rig is easily enough. _________________ Hamish |

| I'd think I would destroy one though, if I was on downhill tracks having to chase my downhiller friends, a bike like an enduro just wouldnt last. SX trail is what I'd love, or 223, or bighit etc.... |
