One or two shots from Cwmcarn ....again.
First one is trying to be a little arty - would appreciate C&C - can't enter this month's photo competition as there isn't any organized racing local.
The rest are at the opera site - pbase has been down for a few days (seems to have better image quality at pbase.

I can see where you're going with the first one but it doesn't quite work for me. I think it's because the weed and the rider are competing rather than naturally contrasting each other, if you follow me.
Still good work and it's good to try all manner of things out - sometimes it doesn't work but when it does it's usually ace.

I agree with Hamish about the first, perhaps it's due to the fact that the rider is riding 'into' the plant?
I like the second too - the lighting is lush. _________________

Second shot has a nice background blur. Good work. Maybe the first would work better if rider and plant had been in either corner of frame?
