1) If in doubt how to post properly read this.

2) Do not post on these forums (including linking to) any Content which (a) is libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, harassing or threatening, (b) contains viruses or other contaminating or destructive features, (c) violates the rights of others, such as Content which infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or violates any right of privacy or publicity, or (d) otherwise violates any applicable law.

(that's all the legal crap taken care of)

3) Don't use all CAPS in postings.

4) TxT tlk (text talk) will not be accepted, there's no need, so don't do it, just makes life confusing for everyone.

5) The forum is not an "online chat room" for inane banter or stupid postings. However, make sure this only occurs in off-topic or bomb hole.

6) No cross posting. Post your topic/message to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.

7)Only post sale message as and when appropriate. If you have something to sell, use the sell section of the forum.

Do post just to increase your post count, but only on the topics in off-topic that incourage this, filling up serious topics with "lol", "k", or simply repeating other ppl for no reason is frowned upon, and can result in warnings and post deleted.

9) Members are not permitted to harass or "flame" other members. Please note that this also includes the posting of taunts on a forum solely for the purpose of deriding that forum's topic and/or members. This will result in a ban warning, or a straight out ip address ban if serious.

10) Do not "bump" your topics back to the top of the forum boards. This is not fair on other users, any topics found to be bumped will be removed or send to bombhole.

11) The so called "Townie/chav" threads. Anyone starting a thread in relation to "chavs" or "Townies" in any area except off-topic will be given a warning.

12) Is rules are broken users may receive three warnings, (or strikes) for minor infringements of the rules, before being banned. Major infringements will result in immediate removal from the forum.

13) The forum has a search facility, please use it, the chances are your topic has been posted before, don’t double post! http://freewheelphoto.myfastforum.org/search.php?

14) Make your topic title descriptive. Do not use titles like "HEEELLLPPP PPPLEEASE!!!!" as these topics are often overlooked, and may well be deleted.

Please be considerate when posting long links. If it is going to create a horizontal scroll bar, shorten the link. Mods who find oversized links that create horizontal scrollbars will delete your post. Use www.tinyurl.com to shorten your link if you find that easier than forum code.

15) The size of signatures should be kept to within reason, no taller than around 6 or 700 pixels, the advertising of items for sale is NOT allowed in the signature, this includes Ebay. Make sure your signature won't be mistaken for being part of your post. Images are allowed in signatures. Big pictures files will result in slow forum performance and will probably be deleted, limit to around 100k, mayeb 150k as a limit.

16) Do not create multiple accounts or topics for the purposes of 'testing' the moderators, we'll just you rip address then you'll be screwed.

17) Posting wrong info in tech will result in an instant ban, unless it is made clear that you're not sure (i.e. prefixed with "i think...").

Forum invasions are now a no-go, we have your ips and can easily ban them.
