Biking Camera, Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 or Canon IXUS 860i?

Hi
I'm after a new compact camera to take on biking trips. I'm used to using a DSLR, but find it too large (& expensive!) to take on the bike all the time.
I'm looking at the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 & the Canon IXUS 860is as they seem to be the only cameras with anything close to a wide angle lens (which I find very useful for interesting shots). Both get good reviews & the TZ3 has 10x zoom, but lacks viewfinder (don't know if I'd miss it really?) & I've read it has slightly longer shutter lag, which can be frustrating.
Anyone used either, have opinions, or other options?

Out of the two I would go for the little Ixus. But then again I've had Ixi for my last two cameras. My small 700 fit in a small pouch on the front the camelbak and is easy to access.
